Columbia Co. Firefighter faces rape charges in two cases, probe ongoing

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 24-year-old Zander Ean McDade in connection with two separate rape investigations.

McDade has been charged with two counts of rape, involving two different victims at different times and locations.

According to initial reports, his listed employer is the Columbia County Fire Department.

McDade is currently being held at the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.

These cases remain under active investigation, and no further details will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigations and the privacy of the victims.
