In the heart of Bulloch County, Georgia, a concerted effort by local law enforcement has led to a significant crackdown on suspected drug activity in a Statesboro neighborhood. Responding to numerous community complaints, the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Team (CST), in collaboration with the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team and the BCSO K9 Unit, launched an operation that culminated in the arrest of eight individuals.

The operation took place on a pivotal Thursday, when officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Van Buren Street. The search yielded a substantial haul: a trafficking amount of methamphetamine, along with cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, and a handgun. Following the discovery, authorities arrested three individuals identified as Rotema Watson, Frances Howard, and Roshaunda Johnson.

The investigation didn’t stop there. The determined officers extended their efforts to a nearby apartment on Elm Street. At this second location, they uncovered additional methamphetamine, marijuana, and various drug-related paraphernalia.

This continued diligence led to the arrests of Purlay Johnson, Imonee McClouden, James Campbell, Shamari Harris, and Ryan Thomas. The concerted actions of the CST and its partners underscore the community’s commitment to eradicating drug-related crime and ensuring the safety of its residents.
