Community Corner: Dream Big Foundation bridges gaps in education and wellness

Their mission is to empower under-resourced children and their families by providing them with literacy and social-emotional support and resources necessary to thrive and achieve with confidence.
In today’s Community Corner, we learn more about “The Dream Big Foundation”– a community-driven nonprofit that focuses on bridging gaps in education and wellness.

Through cornerstone initiatives such as the annual Back-To-School Giveaway, the Bookmark Breakfast literacy events, and the Hygiene Hut personal care initiative, the foundation meets both academic and everyday needs with compassion and consistency.

The Dream Big Foundation is also partnering with Chatham Area Transit (CAT) to launch Storytime on the Move, a new, family-friendly initiative designed to spark a love of reading while introducing children to the joys of public transit.
