Housing resource fair in Jeff Davis County

JEFF DAVIS COUNTY, Ga. () — The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will hold a housing resource fair in Hazlehurst Saturday, May 3 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Federal, state and local agencies will be in one place to offer services and resources to families recovering from Hurricane Helene.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore affordable housing options and rental assistance programs. They can meet with representatives from local housing organizations, landlords and property managers. Resources for displaced individuals and families will be available, as well as community partners that will provide educational funding resources.

Information on loans and health care services will be available. Free blood pressure and glucose checks will be done on site too.
