A devastating house fire on Thanksgiving Day has left a family in Ford County seeking assistance after losing their home in the blaze.

The fire, which occurred in Paxton, erupted around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday due to an unattended turkey fryer, as previously reported by WCIA. Aaron and Zoe Stewart, the homeowners affected by this unfortunate event, are now grappling with the loss alongside their three children, including a newborn currently in the NICU.
