ORLANDO, Fla. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Van Buren porn actor who was sentenced in December for human trafficking and other charges has been arrested in Florida for violating the terms of his release, according to U.S. Marshals Service.

Michael Wayne Hall, 32, was located and arrested on Jan. 22 by the Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force at an Amtrack station in Orlando.

On Dec. 17, 2024, Hall pleaded guilty to attempted human trafficking, two counts of aggravated assault and terroristic threatening. He is a habitual offender. Hall was sentenced to 120 days in the Crawford County Jail and a 10-year suspended imposition of sentence.

Hall was ordered to not film, participate in, direct, upload any pornography or sell or buy pornography for 10 years. He was also ordered to not entice, ask, suggest or otherwise solicit persons to participate in pornography, according to Crawford County Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Holmes.

Before entering his guilty plea, Hall was set to face three jury trials over the course of 2025.

On Jan. 15, Holmes filed a petition to revoke Hall’s suspended sentence for violating the terms of his suspended sentence. Court documents say Hall committed new offenses for harassing communications and unlawful distribution of sexual images and recordings.

Hall reportedly failed to remove a person’s photo from his social media accounts and asked, solicited, suggested, transmitted and/or engaged in pornography, which is a violation of his suspended sentence, according to the filing.

The U.S. Marshals said after a warrant for Hall’s arrest was issued, authorities learned he had left the state.

Based on information provided by investigators in Arkansas, U.S. Marshals found Hall attempting to board a train and was arrested without incident.

Hall was taken to the Orange Correctional Center and is pending extradition back to Arkansas, according to the release. He now faces 36 years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Smith Police Department, Van Buren Police Department, Alma Police Department and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation, the release said.
