(KTXL) — The FBI filed a three-count amended criminal complaint on Monday morning related to its case against the man accused of shooting through the window of the ABC affiliate in Sacramento.

After Anibal Hernandez Santana, 64, of Sacramento, was released on $200,000 bail on Saturday afternoon, the FBI arrested and charged him with possessing a firearm within a school zone, discharging a firearm within a school zone, and interfering with a radio communication station, U.S. Attorney Eric Grant said.

After law enforcement got a warrant, they searched Hernandez Santana’s vehicle and home, where a weekly planner was attached to the refrigerator, according to the court documents.

The court documents stated that on the planner, under “Friday,” there was a handwritten note that stated, “Do the Next Scary Thing.” Law enforcement also found in his car a handwritten note that read, “For hiding Epstein & ignoring red flags. Do not support Patel, Bongino, & AG Pam Bondi. They’re next. – C.K. from above.”

If Hernandez Santana is convicted, he will be facing a maximum statutory penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for possessing and discharging a firearm within a school zone and a maximum one year in prison and a $10,000 fine for interfering with a radio communication station. He also faces 17 years in prison for other gun-related charges brought by the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.

Hernandez Santana was initially arrested on Friday afternoon for the shooting of ABC’s local news affiliate in Sacramento. When officers arrived at the scene, they found three gunshots into a window of the building.

Police said one person was in the lobby at the time shots were fired; however, no one was hurt.

Hernandez Santana is scheduled to appear in Federal Court at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
