SAVANNAH, Ga. — An enchanting evening filled with elegance and a heartfelt cause unfolded on Friday at the Savannah Convention Center.
The much-anticipated Annual Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia Gala made a grand return, with proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association.
The event was gracefully hosted by Ben Senger and Kim Gusby, who served as the charismatic emcees for the night.
This cherished fundraiser provided guests with a refreshed experience while maintaining the core spirit that defines the event.
Prominent local figures and philanthropists graced the dance floor, teaming up with professional dancers to vie for the illustrious mirror ball trophy.
The night was also about raising critical funds and awareness as more than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s.
“The caregivers, they don’t know what to do,” Dr. Pamela Gaudry said. “The doctors don’t always talk to them and talk to the patient, and they’re they’re overwhelmed. They have no help, and it’s just amazing. And I want to get help for the caregivers.”
