Danville Police make second arrest in deadly Scooter’s Bar shooting

A second suspect has been apprehended in relation to a fatal incident at Scooter’s Bar in Danville, Ill., which occurred the previous weekend.

The Danville Police Department announced in a press release that officers from their Problem Oriented Policing unit arrested Jontell J. Robinson, a 30-year-old from Chicago, at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Monday. Robinson was sought in connection with the November 29 shooting at the bar. Officers identified him based on an outstanding warrant.

The warrant accuses Robinson of first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
