DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — One person was hospitalized following a shooting in Daytona Beach on Wednesday.
The shooting was reported in the 1400 block of South Palmetto Avenue, near South Ridgewood Avenue and Beville Road.
Police found the victim at the scene suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim remained in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
Daytona Beach police said there is no ongoing threat to the community and confirmed that everyone involved in the shooting has been accounted for.
Authorities have not released the names of the victim or suspect as the investigation remains ongoing.
