CLEARWATER, Fla. (WFLA) — This weekend, Clearwater Marine Aquarium is offering more than the usual aquatic wonders; a breathtaking spectacle will illuminate the night sky.

The aquarium’s annual “Lights by the Bay” event promises a magical evening, featuring two mesmerizing drone shows scheduled between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17.

“As the sun dips below the horizon and stars dot the sky, hundreds of glowing drones will ascend above the bay, creating an enthralling choreography of light and motion designed to enchant spectators of all ages,” according to a press release.

In addition to the aerial display, attendees can enjoy live performances, indulge in signature food and drinks, participate in engaging activities, and wander through the aquarium’s marine exhibits, all included with the price of admission.
