Dead Body Discovered Hanging in Man Hole
A horrific discovery on Mt. Hope Road late Wednesday afternoon. A witness reported a man hanging upside down in a manhole and said the man had turned purple.
First responders rushed to the scene, and medics confirmed that the victim was deceased. A coroner’s transport was already on the way back to the county from Columbus, so it stopped by the scene to retrieve the deceased.
Officers collected some property the man had on him and released it to the family.
