CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The owner of Pizzeria Antica in Champaign is addressing recent speculation regarding the future of his beloved establishment, assuring the community that the restaurant is not closing its doors.
Ramin Karimpour, the proprietor of Pizzeria Antica, announced that while he is indeed selling the building where the restaurant resides, the pizzeria will continue to operate in the same location as a tenant. Karimpour pointed out that this setup is not new for the business, as the restaurant initially functioned as a tenant during its first five years.
