DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — A gallery in Decatur that is showcasing art created by students from Central Illinois schools will host an award ceremony on Friday.
Gallery 510 Art & Framing is featuring 112 pieces of art from 5th through 8th grade students. Awards will be given separately for 5th-6th graders and 7th-8th graders. There is a Best of Show award in both sections.
The Young Artists Showcase 2025 award ceremony and closing reception will be held Jan. 24 at 5:30 p.m.
The exhibit can be viewed at the Decatur Area Art’s Council’s 1st floor Madden Arts Center. The show is free and open to the public and has been on display since Jan. 10. The exhibit is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Saturdays.
