The Decatur Police initially reported an incident where a person was injured by gunfire at the intersection of 17th and Clay Streets on Friday. This individual was later identified as a suspect in the event. Following investigations, the suspect faced several charges, including aggravated discharge of a firearm and illegal possession of a weapon by a felon.
