DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — A Decatur Public Schools school bus was involved in a crash just before 3 p.m. on Monday.
The Decatur Police Department said the two-vehicle crash happened near the intersection of West Ash and North Water. The driver of the other vehicle was issued a citation.
Maria Robertson, the Director of Communications & PR for DPS, confirmed the incident. She provided the following statement to WCIA:
Administration was informed of [a] traffic accident involving an Alltown school bus transporting students. First Responders were on the scene, and no students were reported injured. The bus was given the “all clear” to continue the route.

The police department said there were three students on the bus and two adults. No one involved was injured according to the police department.
The driver of the bus was not issued a statement, according to Robertson.
