In case you missed the Super Bowl ad for this new feature, it follows a family welcoming a new puppy named Milo. When Milo goes missing, Ring presents Search Party as the solution for bringing lost pets back to their families. The commercial concludes with Milo happily reunited with his family, after a sequence of neighborhood Ring cameras activating and employing AI technology to scan for pets. It’s understandable why some people find the idea unsettling.
