Field of Flags: More than a community service project in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — In anticipation of Veteran’s Day, students from a high school in Champaign County took the opportunity to pay tribute to veterans this past Sunday.

The Centennial High School archery team organized their annual “Field of Flags” event on Sunday afternoon. Assistant Coach Heather Miller shared that this initiative, which began last year, serves as a meaningful community service project.
