LINCOLNTON, Ga. () – The festive spirit is alive and well at Dust & Grace at the Alley in Lincolnton, Georgia!

In a recent edition of “Your Hometown Road Trip,” host Brandon Dawson and his crew made a stop at Dust & Grace at the Alley. They had a lively conversation with the owners, Al and Ashley Danner, about their thriving business.

What can visitors find here?

“We specialize in home and furniture decor, including lighting, lamps, and artwork, available year-round. At the moment, our store is fully decked out for Christmas,” Al explained.

How long have you been running the business?

“We’ve been in business for almost three years. In February, it will be three years,” he said.

What influenced you to start this shop?

Al said, “We started out kind of small, in some of the consignment stores, just redoing furniture and that sort of thing, and then she said we need to get into the retail side of things, and so here we are!”

What are some of the things people are shopping for?

“So right now, anything Christmas,” Ashley said. “All of the ornaments and greenery, our garland and wreaths and things like that are our top sellers. And then of course, anything else that you can need to get your house in the holiday spirit.”

What does the holiday season mean for you?

“It definitely means family and friends and of course, Jesus’ birthday, and the birth of our savior. That’s definitely the most important. But it’s just a time to come together and celebrate and spend time with family and friends,” Ashley said.

How much have the customers supported this place?

“Over the past three years, Lincolnton as a whole has kind of seen a rebirth. We’ve got lots of new restaurants and other businesses that have come on. So the community as a whole has really supported that growth,” Al said.

Is there anything you would like to say to the community?

“We just want to say thank you. We really couldn’t be here and stay open without you guys. We really do appreciate all of your love and support,” Ashley said. “Mainly we just appreciate getting to know you guys. and getting to meet you and talk to you and get to know you on a personal level and really just have that community feel inside the store.”

Dust & Grace is located at 154 N Peachtree Street in Lincolnton, Ga. 30817. You can also find them on social media, here.
