(NEXSTAR) – Heads up, parents, Walt Disney world announced Monday that qualifying children will be able to eat for free next year.

Walt Disney World’s announcement comes just before the opening of the 2026 hotel and ticket booking window, which begins Tuesday.

The deal, which is valid for arrivals in 2026, applies to children ages 3 to 9, according to a post on the park’s website.

In order to take advantage, however, there are a couple of catches: adult parents or guardians must stay with qualifying children in a room at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, and all of the guests must sign up for the same dining plan (which will be free for the children), for the length of the stay.

Guests can choose between two different plans, the Quick-Service Dining Plan and the Dining Plan, which offer combinations of meals, snacks and drinks.

Disney World warns that reservations must be made in advance for the limited number of travel packages that can be paired with the free dining offer.

According to The Points Guy, Disney usually does not allow visitors to combine the free dining promotion with other deals, but that’s not the case in 2026.

Disney will also reportedly bring back a 2025 perk that proved popular – free water park entry for Disney World hotel guests on their check-in day.

See the Disney website for full details.
