LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Music legend and global icon Dolly Parton has postponed her upcoming Las Vegas concert dates, citing “health challenges,” the singer-songwriter announced Sunday.

Parton, 79, announced her grand return to the Las Vegas Strip in June with the “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas” a six-night concert series that was set to light up The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in December, marking Parton’s first extended Vegas run in 32 years.

In a social media post Sunday afternoon, Parton said she has been dealing with some health challenges and her doctors say she must have a few procedures.

Parton released a statement that read:

“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,00-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon! In all seriousness, given this, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see. You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you. While I’ll still be able to work on all of my projects from here in Nashville, I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say. And don’t worry about me quittin’ the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you. I love you and thank you for understanding.”

The postponed show dates have been moved to the following dates;

  • Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, to Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026
  • Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, to Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026
  • Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, to Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026
  • Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, to Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026
  • Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, to Friday, Sept. 25, 2026
  • Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025 to Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026

Tickets are valid for the new dates, and refunds will be available. More instructions on the next steps will be emailed to those who purchased tickets.
