Prepare your tickets! The numbers for the staggering $1.1 billion Powerball jackpot have just been announced.
The lucky numbers are 23, 35, 59, 63, and 68, with the red Powerball number 2. The Power Play multiplier for this draw was 4X.
Just ahead of the drawing, the jackpot saw a slight increase, bringing the total estimated prize to $1.146 billion. Any ticket holder matching these numbers from Monday night’s draw would claim the sixth-largest jackpot in Powerball’s history.
This massive prize is only slightly behind the $1.326 billion won by a man battling cancer in Oregon last year.

The recent increase positions this jackpot as the 11th-largest ever recorded across both Mega Millions and Powerball, just edging past the $1.128 billion Mega Millions jackpot claimed in New Jersey last year.
If you overcame the immense odds – 1 in about 292.2 million – experts have two quick warnings: sign the back of the ticket, to ensure only you can claim it, and keep it a secret for as long as possible. You won’t be able to do that forever, depending on where you live, but it can help avoid conversations with friends, family, and people you hardly know who may be looking for a cut of the pot.
Instead, experts suggest you build a team of people you can tell, like a financial advisor, a tax advisor, and a lawyer.
If you did not win the jackpot, your ticket may still be worth some dough. Not including the grand prize, there are eight ways to win while playing Powerball.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. The lottery game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Tickets are $2 each, with the Power Play option available in participating states for $1 more.
