NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – This weekend, the streets of North Augusta are set to transform into a vibrant celebration of Halloween as the 39th annual Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee kicks off, drawing thousands for a festive mix of Halloween-themed fun, delicious food, and lively music.
Friday night saw Downtown North Augusta bustling with families eager to soak in a “spooktacular” atmosphere brimming with Halloween cheer. Organizers are thrilled to report that this year’s Jubilee promises more activities and vendors than ever before, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
Jennifer Goldman from Explore North Augusta shared, “We’re expecting over 180 craft vendors tomorrow, offering a diverse array of shopping options and delectable food. Each year, the event continues to grow and expand.”
As the Jubilee expands, so does the entertainment on offer, promising an even more thrilling experience for festival-goers.
And the bigger it gets, the bigger the entertainment.
One of this year’s headliners is Grammy-nominated Christian artist Matthew West, who shared his excitement about being part of the Jubilee.
“It’s a gorgeous day here in Augusta at the Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee,” West said.
“The whole street is closed down. I got off a tour bus this morning and smelled kettle corn and barbecue and thought, it’s going to be a good day. I’m just honored to be here tonight.”
Festivalgoers say the event offers something for everyone—from carnival rides to live performances.
“Food, great music. It’s great for our community to really spend time together and enjoy ourselves around this time of year,” said Colton Poole.
The festivities continue Saturday, wrapping up with a headlining concert from the Grammy-Award winning band Blues Traveler.
