KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) — In a WARN notice posted Tuesday, CAM Industrial Solutions in Kingsport said all 413 of its workers are transferring to another contractor, Turner Industries.

The notice comes after Eastman Chemical Company selected Turner Industries following a rebidding process.

According to the WARN notice, the employees will be transferred to the new contractor “upon separation on August 3, 2025.”

In a statement, Eastman said Turner Industries will begin providing services on Aug. 4.

“Eastman’s external service providers are key partners in our efforts to remain competitive. It is our policy to periodically review service contracts and, when appropriate, request bids for service contracts to ensure the provider’s services meet our needs, and they are cost competitive. In 2024, Eastman began the rebid process for our major construction and maintenance services contract at our sites in Kingsport, Tenn, and Longview, Texas. Eastman has selected Turner Industries to provide these services, effective August 4, 2025.”
