Urbana event honors survivors during Domestic Violence Awareness Month

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, an event dedicated to honoring survivors took place on Saturday at The Yard on Broadway.

Courage Connection, an organization committed to supporting families and individuals affected by domestic violence, hosted the event called “Courage on the Block.” The aim was to celebrate those impacted by such challenges while shining a light on the issue.
