In Savannah, Georgia, a vibrant celebration unfolded as women gathered to honor female leadership, influence, and the undeniable power of women’s voices at the EmpowHer 2026 event, held on a lively Thursday evening.
The much-anticipated EmpowHer Voices of Influence 2026 made its return to the Clyde Venue, offering a platform for community leaders to impart their wisdom on how to pursue impactful careers with a sense of purpose and determination.
Participants were treated to a delightful cocktail hour and had the opportunity to explore various women-owned businesses. The event also featured wellness activities designed to rejuvenate the spirit, including affirmation yoga, paint and sip sessions, and soothing chair massages.
Notable figures such as ‘s Kim Gusby and Tina Tyus-Shaw joined forces with moderator Dr. Janelle Williams to engage in a meaningful dialogue about representation, leadership, and the elevation of women’s voices within professional realms.
Dr. Janelle Williams, co-founder and CEO of Kindred Futures, remarked on the diverse and dynamic crowd, saying, “You can see this multi-generational crowd where there are women who have been incredible mentors, there are women who are entering the workspace. These are mothers, these are civic leaders, entrepreneurs and so it’s just been wonderful to see this community of women show up to celebrate each other.”
