JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — An Erwin woman was arrested Sunday after stealing a victim’s guns, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO).
The WCSO said deputies responded to a reported burglary in the 200 block of Little Germany Road shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. The victim told deputies that a woman had locked herself in his residence.
The victim reportedly went next door to call 911, prompting the woman to leave his residence. The woman stole two pistols from inside the residence, and one pistol and a cooler from the victim’s vehicle, according to a release from WCSO.
Deputies located Zarra Lee Reagan, 41, in the front yard in the 300 block of Little Germany Road. Reagan was found with the three pistols placed inside the cooler, the release said.
Reagan was charged with three counts of Unlawful Carrying or Possession of a Weapon, one count of Aggravated Burglary and three counts of Theft.
She was transported to the Washington County Detention Center and is being held on a $7,500 bond. Reagan will appear in court on July 7.
