Programs for Exceptional People to hold 2 community events

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. () — Programs for Exceptional People (PEP), a non-profit organization that helps adults with a broad spectrum of intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities, has 2 upcoming events.

The first, an open house on May 15, will highlight what PEP does for our community. PEP board members, families and staff will provide tours and information about their mission and the different programs offered. Everyone is welcome. The open house will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15 at 39 Sheridan Park Circle in Bluffton.

Then on Sunday, May 18, PEP holds their 30th Anniversary Celebration at The Jazz Corner on Hilton Head Island. This event honors the three decades of empowering adults with special needs. A mimosa reception starts the afternoon at noon, followed by lunch at 1 p.m. There will be a live auction after the musical performance by Deas-Guyz. There is limited seating. Tickets are available here.
