A former educator from Johnson City, Tennessee, has entered a plea of not guilty in response to charges of sexual battery. On Monday, Tyler Harmon, who has previously taught within local school systems, faced these serious allegations in court.
The Johnson City Police Department (JCPD) took Harmon into custody in November 2025 following a distressing investigation. Authorities claim they were informed about an inappropriate relationship between Harmon and a juvenile, leading to the charges against him.
