Freedom Blast competition Out There Somewhere

People are having a blast at Freedom Blast, and there are fireworks later, but we’ve seen some competition for that, or at least some saw it.

It will stop traffic in Thomson: Freedom Blast.

“Excited for the blast tonight. Fireworks are always great,” says Zephie Banks of Thomson.

But Freedom Blast fireworks have some competition that everyone is talking about.

“No, I didn’t see it. I saw it on TV,” says Larry Moore.

It was that fire ball blazing across the sky in the south east. There are two types of people around here: those that saw it and those that didn’t.

“I didn’t see it in person,” says Banks.

“Do you feel bad about that?”

“I do indeed,” says Banks. “I missed the real fire work.”

“All I seen was a little flash. When it came into the atmosphere, it caught on fire, and then it was over,” says Dale.

“Did you see the fireball?”

“I did,” says Charlie Bowles. It was awesome. It was awesome. I like it a lot.”

Not only did it light up the sky; it roared like thunder.

“I heard it,” says Alonzo. “I heard it. It was real loud. We thought it was an earthquake.”

“We’re just thinking that we were getting something from Iran,” says Dale.

“I really thought that it was an attack,” says Alonzo. “It was exactly what I thought it was.”

A fiery meteor, not a missile… it was the fireworks before Freedom Blast.

“It will be a great time for everybody,” says Bowles.

“Better than the meteor?”

“Yeah,” Bowles laughs. “It’s going to be hot.”

Freedom Blast: the day after the meteor… you got to see it to believe it.
