CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — A well-known — and easily recognizable — vehicle will be making the rounds in Central Illinois this week.
The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will make appearances in Champaign, Tuscola, Charleston and Westville from Aug. 28 to Aug. 30. The divers, Tailgate Trey and Relish Raena, will be “sparking smiles” and handing out Wiener Whistles at the events.
On Aug. 28, the Wienermobile will be at Tuscola Kirby Foods from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Then, from 3 to 6 p.m. you can catch the Wienermobile at Student Night at County Market/ Niemanns, located at 331 E Stoughton St. in Champaign.
The next day, the Wienermobile will be at the Charleston County Market from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Then, Wienermobile fans have one last chance to “meat” up with the iconic vehicle on Saturday, Aug. 30. The Wienermobile will be at Zamberletti Park for the Westville Labor Day Celebration from noon to 3 p.m.
The hot dog on wheels previously stopped by Central Illinois earlier this summer. To keep track of the Wienermobile, visit Oscar Mayer’s website.
