SAVANNAH, Ga. () — Coastal HomeSchool quarterback Colin Wood will take his talents to Reinhardt University, the senior said on Feb. 5 at a ceremony at Bloomingdale Community Church.

The signal caller threw for over 2,500 yards, 35 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. It’s not common to go from 8-man high school football to college football. A fact not lost on Wood.

“He was really excited,” Wood said. “I told him about a week and a half ago that I was ready to go, and he said, ‘Let’s go.’ So excited.

“What made Reinhart’s stand out to me was the coach, the atmosphere when I was there. I just loved every second of it. And I didn’t look back and I said, ‘That’s my home.’ That’s really special.

“Coming from a small organization to a college. It’s absolutely amazing. I love the opportunity, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Congratulations to Wood on the next chapter of his athletic career.
