Experience Festive Harmony: Community Chorale's Holiday Concert Shines Bright

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Excitement is building as Simon Tiffin and Kate Stout from The Chorale sat down with WCIA 3’s Mitchell Rife to discuss an eagerly awaited event.

The Chorale is preparing to enchant audiences with their upcoming concert, “Season of Change,” scheduled for later this month. True to its name, the program will be a harmonious blend of festive holiday music and pieces reflecting the theme of embracing and navigating change. Artistic Director Simon Tiffin shared that he aims to craft programs that reflect the current world climate and resonate with the audience.

Kate Stout, who serves as President of The Chorale, expressed her deep connection to the group, which she joined just five years after its inception in 1982. She described the ensemble as a second family and emphasized their passion for exploring a wide range of musical styles and genres.

The Chorale’s Holiday Concert is set to take place at the Faith United Methodist Church in Champaign. Mark your calendars for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. While the event welcomes everyone, a $20 donation is suggested for those attending.
