MARTINEZ, Ga. — The cherished holiday tradition of the “Singing Christmas Tree” is making its return to the CSRA, as the Abilene Baptist Church opens its doors for this festive event for the 47th consecutive year.
This annual spectacle features a towering, interactive Christmas tree accompanied by talented musicians, dazzling lights, and a cast of performers, all capturing the essence of the holiday season.
“This event is our Christmas gift to the community—the 47th annual Abilene Baptist Church Singing Christmas Tree,” shared Pastor Brian Whit. “It’s become a beloved tradition in the CSRA, marking the start of the Christmas season for many families. We’re anticipating a record-breaking turnout this year, so we advise everyone with tickets to arrive early—at least an hour in advance.”
In the spirit of giving, the church invites attendees to contribute to a good cause by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to support the Toys for Tots initiative.
