AMC Theatres brings back discounted classic holiday movies starting Dec. 5

AMC Theatres is ushering in the holiday spirit by reintroducing beloved seasonal films to cinema screens, offering audiences a nostalgic experience at reduced ticket prices.

From December 5 to January 1, over 200 AMC locations across the country will participate in the annual Fan Faves Holiday Classics Series. This event features a rotating selection of time-honored holiday movies, ensuring that cherished films are accessible to audiences once more.

Each beloved film in the series will be available at a special discounted rate, with the lineup repeating weekly across participating venues. Here’s a glimpse into the weekly schedule of these holiday classics:

  • Fridays: “The Grinch” (2018)
  • Saturdays: “Elf”
  • Sundays: “The Polar Express” (3D)
  • Mondays: “Love Actually”
  • Tuesdays: “The Polar Express” (2D)
  • Wednesdays: “Elf”
  • Thursdays: “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”

The selection aims to delight families, holiday enthusiasts, and anyone eager to relive these cinematic gems on the big screen.

Additionally, marking its 25th anniversary, “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas” (2000) will enjoy a limited re-release. This special screening will take place from Thursday, December 11, through December 18.
