Explosive Discovery Shocks Orlando: Live Grenade Found in Residential Area

ORLANDO, Fla. – A surprising discovery was made by emergency crews in an Orlando neighborhood on Friday afternoon—a grenade was found, as reported by the fire department.

The fire officials issued a statement indicating they were initially called to address an “incident involving a potential explosive device” located in the 3000 block of Graceland Court.

Upon investigation, it was determined that the device in question was a non-explosive, inert grenade, according to officials.

The situation was subsequently handed over to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team from Patrick Space Force Base, the report stated.
