SAVANNAH, Ga. () — As New Year’s Eve approaches, returning home safely just became more convenient.

In an effort to enhance community safety during the year’s most festive night, local law firm Farah & Farah is distributing thousands of complimentary Uber rides.

Marking its tenth anniversary, the NYE Safe Ride Home Program by Farah & Farah has facilitated over 16,000 rides throughout Florida and Georgia. Acknowledging the spike in accidents during New Year’s, the firm is devoted to mitigating the risks associated with drinking and driving, aiming to make roads safer for everyone.

“With more than 40 years of advocating for accident victims, we are acutely aware of the severe consequences that crashes can inflict,” stated Chuck Farah, senior managing partner at Farah & Farah. “Our New Year’s Eve Safe Ride Home Program offers a practical solution for thousands to celebrate responsibly, steer clear of accidents, and ensure a safe journey home.”
