KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Authorities are currently investigating a fatal collision involving two vehicles in Osceola County, which tragically claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Saturday afternoon.

The incident unfolded at the intersection of US-192 and Parkway Blvd in Kissimmee, occurring at approximately 4:48 p.m., as stated in a preliminary report by the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash involved a motorcycle and a Lexus RX, though the exact circumstances that led to the collision remain under investigation by the troopers. Details on the sequence of events are still being pieced together.

Sadly, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, marking a somber outcome to the day’s events.

According to the FHP, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the SUV were not injured and remained at the scene.

Troopers said there is currently a roadblock for the westbound lanes of US-192.

The crash remains under investigation.

The crash marks the third fatal motorcycle crash in Central Florida on Saturday. A crash in Orange County claimed the life of a 20-year-old motorcyclist around 7 a.m. And around noon, a crash in Volusia County killed a 58-year-old motorcyclist.
