2 vehicle collision in Bulloch County claims the life of 1

BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. () – A collision Tuesday night involving two vehicles on State Route 46 in Bulloch County has claimed the life of one individual.

Around 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, officers arrived at a two-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle (CMV) and a Honda Odyssey minivan. The collision occurred at the intersection of State Route 46 and Nevils Denmark Road.

According to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), the driver of the CMV failed to come to a stop at the intersection on Georgia 46 and struck the minivan. Emergency crews pronounced the driver of the Honda deceased shortly after the crash.

The passenger in the minivan, a 15-year-old juvenile, was transported to Memorial Hospital by helicopter. She is currently listed to be in critical condition.

Georgia State Patrol’s Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team ( SCRT-F ) was called to the scene to assist with the investigation.
