ATLANTA () — The FBI Atlanta Field Office and the U.S. Marshals Service for the Northern District of Georgia announced Thursday the results of “Operation No Escape,” a six-week initiative to track down and arrest wanted individuals across Georgia.

The joint operation brought together federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, resulting in the arrest of 177 people wanted on serious charges.

Some of the arrests include the following:

  • 28 wanted for murder, homicide, or manslaughter
  • 60 individuals charged with assault

“This is a message for all criminals, both foreign and domestic,” said U.S. Marshal Thomas Brown. “The United States Department of Justice is coming for you. If you harm U.S. citizens, you will not be allowed a moment of peace.”
