ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — The City of St. Petersburg is set to receive $16.5 million from FEMA to aid in the restoration of Tropicana Field.

Tom Greene, the assistant city administrator for St. Pete, described the reimbursement in an email as a “very encouraging development.” The stadium has been undergoing repairs after Hurricane Milton severely damaged its roof in 2024.
