INDIAN HARBOR BEACH, Fla. – Indian Harbor Beach will start paid beach parking at two of its parks for non-residents, the city said Thursday on its website.

Starting March 31, Bicentennial and Millennium Beach parks will have parking signs that allow visitors to pay through their mobile device or have kiosks to pay in-person, the city hall shared in a social media post.

Parking will be $3 per hour or $15 for the entire day, the post said. Non-residents who don’t pay for parking will be issued a citation but will not have a boot placed on their vehicle, according to the city hall.

The policy change comes after residents voiced their concerns of not being able to park at the beaches due to overcrowding.

Residents can register their vehicle for free parking here and will need to provide proof of residency and vehicle registration. Those who need to register more than two vehicles should contact the city’s park.

The city will also host in-person sign-up days for residents on March 14, 21, and 28 from 9 a.m .to 3 p.m. at the city hall.

The park will use PCI Municipal Services, known as Park Indian Harbor Beach, to administer the non-resident paid parking program, city officials said.

Those who have questions or concerns can contact Park Indian Harbor Beach at 321-425-2522 or at ParkIHB@MunicipalParking.com.

Indian Harbor Beach’s parks are open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
