ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – In the early hours of Wednesday, a fire at an apartment complex in Seminole County forced 20 residents to leave their homes, according to local authorities.
The blaze was reported at 2:17 a.m. at The Edge at Lake Lotus apartments, situated off State Road 434 in Altamonte Springs.
According to the Seminole County Fire Department, the fire originated within a wall of a rear stairwell.
Although the fire was confined to the stairwell area, it resulted in the displacement of 20 individuals.
Fortunately, there were no injuries reported from the incident.

No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is not known.
SCFD said Altamonte Springs’ emergency management department is assisting the displaced residents.
