DENVER (KDVR) — University of Colorado Boulder’s community is mourning the loss of Dominiq Ponder, a sophomore backup quarterback, who tragically died in a car accident. The news was shared on social media by CU Buffs Head Coach, Deion Sanders.
“God, please bring comfort to the Ponder family, friends, and loved ones. Dom was truly one of my favorites—loved, respected, and a natural leader. Let’s all pray for those who had the blessing of knowing him and being in his presence. Lord, you’re welcoming a good one. Comfort us, Lord, comfort us,” wrote Sanders in his heartfelt post.
