In Tampa, Florida, Congresswoman Kathy Castor, a Democrat, made a stop at Feeding Tampa Bay on Monday to address concerns regarding the effects of the government shutdown on local residents.

There has been a noticeable increase in insurance premiums, along with rising deductibles and maximum out-of-pocket expenses. This situation is exacerbated by the recent expiration of government subsidies that previously helped offset these costs.
