ORLANDO, Fla. – A recent investigation by MovingPlace has identified the most sought-after ZIP codes in the United States, with one neighborhood in Florida making it into the top ten.
The study scrutinized nearly one million relocations in October to pinpoint the most favored areas nationwide.
Among Florida’s ZIP codes, 32256 in Jacksonville emerged as the standout, ranking sixth in October’s list of most-moved-to ZIP codes with a total of 294 relocations.

According to MovingPlace, one significant factor contributing to Jacksonville’s popularity is its housing market. The median home price in the 32256 area is $388,000, marking a 21.3 percent increase from the previous year.
The report also highlights that the 32256 ZIP code is appealing due to its robust employment opportunities and convenient access to downtown Jacksonville.
Researchers found that sunbelt states are seeing the biggest migration overall, with Florida, Texas and Tennessee attracting the most new residents per capita. The 34987 ZIP in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, more than doubled its moves month-over-month.
