The reality television community is mourning the loss of Mickey Lee, a former “Big Brother” contestant, who passed away at the age of 35. Her family shared the heartbreaking news on Christmas Day, announcing her death in a poignant Instagram post.

Hailing from Jacksonville, Lee’s family revealed that she died early in the evening on December 25th. Their statement on social media highlighted Mickey’s impact on the “Big Brother” audience: “Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on ‘Big Brother,’ where her authenticity, strength, and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alive. She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen.”
