ORLANDO, Fla. – We’re looking at a another day with heightened fire danger across the area, and that risk isn’t going away anytime soon.

The setup is all due to a ridge of high pressure that will keep any rainmaking systems far north of Central Florida.

Low humidity, breezy winds and fry air will continue to quickly dry out vegetations. Please be extra cautious if you’re grilling, burning yard waste, or doing anything that involves open flame.

Fire Danger Today

We will also have gusty onshore winds each afternoon, but not much in the way of rain. In fact, rain chances stay really low—almost non-existent—through next week.

A slow but steady warming trend is settling in, and you’ll feel it more over the next few days.

Highs are climbing into the mid- to upper 80s inland but staying a bit cooler near the coast (low 80s) due to the onshore breeze.

Easter Sunday

Next Week

By mid- to late next week, we start to see more of a sea breeze pattern setting up, which could eventually lead to some spotty rain.

The latest guidance, however, still keeps things mostly dry—just a slim 10% chance of a shower on Wednesday and Thursday.

Otherwise, those toasty temps stick around, with low 90s inland and upper 80s near the coast.
