JACKSON, S.C. () – Authorities from the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office have apprehended several individuals in relation to the shooting incident that occurred on April 13th along the 100 block of Goodman Road in Jackson, South Carolina.
The tragic event resulted in the death of 17-year-old Kahlil Simmons, while another victim, aged 16, sustained injuries.
Law enforcement officials have charged 18-year-old Jared Grant Marsh II, hailing from Aiken, with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Additionally, 17-year-old Tyler Hans Lariscey, also from Aiken, faces a murder charge. Their arrests took place on Tuesday afternoon, April 21st, following a traffic stop.


Furthermore, 40-year-olds Tarah Alexander and Bryan Alexander, both residents of Aiken, have been charged with being accessories after the fact to murder. These charges were filed last night.


Currently, all accused individuals are detained at the Aiken County Detention Center.
Authorities say charges may be forthcoming as the case continues to develop.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in this case by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,
Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Fugitive Task
Force.
