SAVANNAH, Ga. () — The 2025 Club Car Championship needed a 73rd hole to decide a champion on Sunday, April 6, at the Deer Creek Course at The Landings.

Jeremy Gandon, walked to the 18th green, 17 shots under par and tied with Rick Lamb, who was already in the clubhouse. Gandon missed about a 20-foot putt that would have won the tournament.

Instead, Gandon and Lamb entered into a sudden-death playoff. The competitors would replay the 18th hole until a champion was crowned.

Gandon’s second shot landed in the greenside bunker. Lamb played the hole a little safer and was on in three shots. Lamb was away so he played first. His fourth shot was a birdie putt that was just a little off.

Gandon hit a beautiful shot out of the bunker on his third shot and tapped in for the victory. For Gandon, this was his first career victory on the Korn Ferry Tour.
